Who We Are
Champions Catering is a new workforce development food service program at
St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County, Oakland. The program provides catering staff valuable culinary and business experience, while its proceeds support St. Vincent de Paul's programs, including our dining hall, homeless shelter, and job training and support programs.

Chef Javier was born in Spain and a permanent resident of Oakland, California since 2015. He studied food analysis in Spain. Javier’s passion for food was ignited by countless hours in the kitchen mastering and loving the craft of cooking. His specialty is Spanish cuisine and international food, as he always loved experimenting with new techniques and recipes
Chef Francis, born in Hong Kong and a permanent resident of Bay Area, California since 1990. He has 45 years plus cooking experience. Graduated from the SVdP's Kitchen of Champions program. He's specializing in Asian cuisine, Italian cuisine and American food.His secret ingredients is cooking food with heart.
Chef Willie (Wil) Reeves, born in Mississippi and a permanent resident of Oakland , California since 1988. A graduated student of SVdP's Kitchen of Champions program, and now with Champions Catering. He's specializing in Southern cuisine.
